Obituary -
Lockport, July 8 - Mrs. Laura Haywood Alexander, 92 years old, pioneer resident of Lockport, died at her home in Lockport township this morning after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Alexander was born in Will county August 18, 1850 and was the wife of the late James H. Alexander. She was one of the oldest members of the First Congregational church of Lockport.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Laura A. Johnson of Chicago and one son, Healy H. Alexander of Lockport; one brother, Turiel Haywood, of Gary, Ind.; also eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
The body has been removed to the Goodale funeral home, from where services will be Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Dr. Harry Munro, officiating. Burial will be in the Alexander cemetery. Friends are asked to please omit flowers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Haywood Alexander will be held from the Goodale funeral home, Hamilton street, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Dr. Harry Munro will officiate. Burial will be in the Alexander cemetery, Lockport township. Friends are asked to please omit flowers.
