GEORGETOWN, S.C. — Lisa Renee (Valentino) Hughes, age 54, died in Georgetown, S.C., after a courageous three-month battle with cancer. Lisa was born on Jan. 6, 1959, to Reno and Beatrice (Moritz) Valentino.
Survivors include her husband, Doug; her mother, Beatrice, of Crosby; one son, Matthew (Mandy Hendrickson) Lubovich, of Aitkin; two daughters, Melissa Lubovich, of Ironton, and Courtney Jones, of Brainerd; stepchildren, Jake, Michelle, Jessica, Nicole and Tony; three grandchildren, Chase, Logan and Westin; two brothers, Dick (Sandy) Valentino, of St. Paul, Ron (Sharon) Valentino, Indio, Calif.; two sisters, Lynn (Don) Valiquet, of Crosby, Lee (Devon) Russell, of Crosby; sister-in-law, Sheila Valentino, Aitkin; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her father, Reno; one sister, Lorna "Lori;" one brother, Lyle "Rocky."
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.
