Regina Rivera Services: Wed., June 1, 10:30 a.m. Regina Rivera was born on September 7, 1919 in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico. In 1956, she and her husband Asuncion Rivera (who preceded her in death), came to California and settled in Lamont. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Elisa and Agustin Rivera, Yolanda and Jose Feliciano, Lillian and Augusto Madera and son and daughter-in-law: Edgardo Luis and Adelaida Muñoz. She is also survived by her sisters Conception Rivera, Zoila Rodriquez and brother, Victor Rivera. Regina took great pleasure in her six grandchildren, Eladio Hernandez Jr., Eriberto Hernandez, Elizabeth Rivera, Luis Feliciano, Evelyn Feliciano, Elizabeth Muñoz; her eight great-grandchildren; Angie Herrera, Luis Madera, Elizabeth Regina Hernandez, Tiffany Hernandez, David Hernandez, Matthew Perez, Chelsy Heckmann, Kaylee Heckmann; and her two great-great-grandchildren: Anabelia Lara and Savannah Hernandez. As one of the pioneer members of the club Boricuas Unidos en Ca, she lived life to its fullest, but never lost sight of the fact that family came first. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends for her spunky personality and for her sharp sense of humor. The family would also like to thank Dr. Ricardo Vega for the wonderful care and understanding he gave us in her final days. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at 10:30 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at 4:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel. Legacy.com
