Judy died Monday, May 23. Judy was born Feb. 23, 1949 in El Paso. She married Gordon Gentry Oct. 1, 1971 in Roosevelt. Judy graduated from Monterey High School in 1969 and earned her bachelors and masters degree from Texas Tech. She was a licensed professional counselor, national certified counselor, and a certified elder caregiver advisor. She was very active in the Alzheimer's support program and family counseling.
Survivors include her parents, Dennis and Helen Anderson of Lubbock; brother, Larry nd spouse Sandra of Plano; brother-in-law, Sam Gentry of ubbock; and three nieces, Stacy, Natalie and Paige. Judy's husband of 31 years, Gordon, receded her in death in 2002.
