He was born in Wilsonburg, W.Va. Sept. 26, 1905, a son of the late John W. and Nora Fittro Windon.
Surviving in addition to his widow, are one son, John L. Windon of Wintersville; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Valent of Clarksburg, W.Va., Mrs. Beulah Johnson of Miami, Fla. and Mrs. Mabel McIntire of Hollywood Calif., and six grandchildren.
Mr. Windon was a member of the United Brethern Church of Christ in Steubenville and a member of the 25 Year Club of the Weirton Steel Plant, from which he was retired.
