Born in Eudora, Kansas on January 31, 1917 to the late Carl W. and Rose (Krueger) Schubert. On April 6, 1936 in Lawrence, Kansas she was united in marriage to Frank O. Banks. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; brother, Laverne Schubert; sisters, Carlene Schubert and Dorothy Green. Her survivors include her sons, Roger Banks and wife Betsy of Edmond, Oklahoma and Richard Banks of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Karen Merritt and husband Don of Owensville; and by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
