The Meriden Ledger, Thursday, June 18, 1914, page 5:
Kampman- Carpenter

Mr. George Kampman of Meriden, Kansas, and Mrs. Della Carpenter of Topeka were quietly married at the Court House in Topeka Saturday afternoon, June 13th, at 2:30 0'clock. The bride is 50 years old and the groom is 65.
Mr. Kampman is well known in and around Meriden and is one of our best and wealthiest citizens.

Mrs. Kampman is not so well known here but as she has been keeping house for Mr. Kampman for several months, he surely found her a woman of refinement and one that is well capable to perform her duties as wife. When this is said, we feel that she needs no further introduction.
The Ledger joins in extending congratulations.
