Pearline Alexander , 75, of 1207 Almond St., Syracuse , died Monday. Born in Clayton, Ala., she attended Clayton public schools. She retired in 1991 after many years as a dietitian at Crouse Hospital. She was a foster grandparent and a member of Hopps Memorial CME Church. Her husband, Ira, died in 1981.
Survivors: A son, Robert D. Pride of Syracuse ; three stepdaughters, Gladys Smith and Marsha Merriweather, both of Syracuse , and Iris Belt of Mount Morris; a sister, Katie Lang of Detroit, Mich.; a brother, Alto Pride of Alabama; two grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Saturday in Hopps Memorial CME Church. Burial, Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse . Calling hours, 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Garland Bros. Funeral Home, 143 W. Castle St., Syracuse .
