Italo H Lusardi, 51 of Hampton, N.J., who was serving as chairman of the Hampton Planning Board died Tuesday in Hunterdon Medical Center Flemington.
He had been a member of the Planning Board since 1973, and had served as chairman since 1981. He was a councilman in the borough from 1973 to 1981
He worked for the L.J. Gonzer Co., Newark, N.J.
Born March 10, 1935 in Bedonia, Italy, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Ratti Lusardi. He lived in the Hampton area most of his life.
Mr Lusardi was a member of Saint Ann's Catholic Church, Hampton. He served with the US Air Force
Surviving are his wife the former Janice Parker; three sons Joseph and Phillip, both at home, and Michael of Auburn, Al; a brother Lewis of Washington N.J. and a granddaughter Stephanie.
A Liturgy of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St Anne's Catholic Church. Internment will be in the Paris cemetery. The Douglas D Martin Funeral Home Clinton is in charge of arrangements.
