Bonnie Bess McCoy Taylor passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on May 7, 2013. She was born in Milam County, Texas, the youngest of seven children born to Wade Hampton McCoy and Minnie P. Jenness McCoy. Bonnie married Noel (Doc) Taylor on May 18, 1941, a union that lasted more than 59 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Katie and infant Robbie, brothers infant Harry, Claude, Benjamin F. and Gaylon. Bonnie graduated from Rockdale High School and Durhams Business School. She was fortunate to have attended her 75th high school reunion in 2009. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with family. She thanked the Lord for each new day and for all life experiences. She was a long time member of Hyde Park Christian Church. Family visitation was held on Monday, May 13th followed by a celebration of Bonnie's life at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, North Lamar. Interment followed in Forest Oaks Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon, Austin. Austin American-Statesman, May 12, 2013
