Sherrill Pugmire Hymas, 78, passed away at the Bear Lake Skilled Nursing Facility on February 23, 2013. She was born to Arlin R. Pugmire and Ruth W. Pugmire on May 11, 1934. She was the oldest of their seven children. Sherry grew up in St. Charles, Idaho and went to school in the Bear Lake Valley. On May 22, 1952 she married Doneal B. Hymas in the Logan LDS Temple. They had five daughters. She supported her daughters in school functions and church and sports activities. She sewed all their clothes and was an accomplished knitter.

While the girls were small, Sherry worked off and on at a small grocery store in Montpelier. In 1968 she was hired by Utah Power & Light where she worked for 29 years. She loved people and enjoyed seeing the customers come in. Sherry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Sherry had a love for learning and after retiring from Utah Power & Light, she received her Bachelor's degree from Idaho State University. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Jean and Joan Pugmire, a brother, Max W. Pugmire, her brother -in-law William T. Marshall and her great granddaughter Samantha Nielson.
