FAIRMONT - A Memorial visitation for Dennis R. Goodchild, 70, of Fairmont, Minn., will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont.
Dennis passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at his home in Fairmont.
Dennis Ray Goodchild was born Nov. 20, 1942, in Havelock, Iowa, the son of Lester and Gladys (Grove) Goodchild. He graduated from Havelock High School. In 1960, Dennis was united in marriage to Janice Dornath in Fort Dodge, Iowa. They were later divorced. Dennis worked for 30 years at 3M in Fairmont until his retirement in 1997.
Dennis is survived by one daughter, Debra Mueller of Spirit Lake, Iowa; two sons, Bob Goodchild of Texas and Dennis Goodchild of Spirit Lake, Iowa; grandchildren, Holly and Shane Mueller of Spirit Lake, Iowa; great-granddaughter, Eden Vigdal; brother, Jim Goodchild and his wife Darlene of Mallard, Iowa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Glady Goodchild; son, Doug Goodchild; sister, Bonnie Scott; and brother, Darwin Goodchild.
