PAYNE, BETTY J., 69, of Clearwater, died Wednesday (April 6, 2005) at Largo Medical Center. She came here in 1986 from her native Cairo, Ky. She was a homemaker and was Methodist. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved to dance. Survivors include five sons, Jim C. Lockridge, Clearwater, Paul Payne, Cave City, Ky., Michael Payne, Glenn Payne and Todd Payne, all of Bowling Green, Ky.; a daughter, Sharon Shinkle, Hermitage, Tenn.; three brothers, Edward Sights, Parker Sights and Sterling Sights, all of Hernderson, Ky.; four sisters, Linda Tucker, Tustin, Calif., Gale McCormick, Pinellas Park, Mary E. Asher, Sebree, Ky., and Lila M. Rolfe, Evansville, Ind.; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
