Doris 'Pat' Scriver
     AU SABLE FORKS — Doris "Pat" Scriver, 58, of 1 Terrace Street, Au Sable Forks, died Monday, August 3, 1998, at her home.
     She was born May 23, 1940, in Au Sable Forks [sic, Jay], the daughter of Herbert and Irene (Rabitoy) Ano.
     Mrs. Scriver was a chambermaid for several years at the Hilton Hotel in Lake Placid. She. enjoyed bingo and was a past member of the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion in Au Sable Forks. She was a member of Holy Name Church, Au Sable Forks, and was a devoted housewife and mother. Pat and Russ celebrated 40 years of marriage July 26 at the American Legion with family and friends.
     Survivors include her husband, Russell H. Scriver, Sr., of Au Sable Forks, whom she married July 26,1958, at Holy Name Church in Au Sable Forks; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Robert and Sherry Scriver of Baltimore, Maryland; David and Kathy Scriver of Saranac Lake; Russell H. Scriver, Jr., of Atlanta, Georgia; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael DeAngelo of Saranac Lake; five grandchildren: Jessica and Rena Scriver, Joshua and Brady DeAngelo and Michael Bola; one step-granddaughter, Christine; four sisters: Theresa Gary of Colton, Adriana Archambault and Marlene Dolaway, both of Au Sable Forks, Betty Doyle of Keeseville; a brother, Joseph Ano, of New Sweden; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Francis "Sonny" Ano, and a sister, Marjorie "Sis" Furnia, died earlier.
     There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks. Burial will be at Holy Name Cemetery, Au Sable Forks.
