Abner Miller TEAGUE, 1763-1842, was grandson of William TEAGUE, and a great grandson of Edward TEAGUE.
In 1783, Abner Miller TEAGUE married Amelia "Millie' GARY, born November 13, 1763, Bush River, Newberry District, South Carolina, a daughter of Thomas GARY, 1727-1797, and of his wife, Uriah NEWMAN, 1733-1793.
Abner Miller TEAGUE, 1763-1842, was buried on land formerly owned by Joshua TEAGUE. The graves were later moved to the Chandler Cemetery, on the old Chandler Farm, on Milton Road, in Clinton, Laurens County, South Carolina. In 1996, this farm land was owed by David RAMAGE.

It appears that Abner was the only son to keep his share of the Teague Estate, as he remained in South Carolina. His will was drawn in Nov. 30, 1837:
1-pay all debts and funeral expenses
2-$1500 to care for my 3 slaves: Neeris, Mary, and Mesa
3-Sell the Estate: divide among Thomas, Elijah, and Jesse, as well as the widow and children of deceased son Joshua (BUT excluding EMILY, wife of John Godfrey.)
THOMAS: $285.22
ELIJAH: $280.15
JESSE: $----------
JOSHUA'S survivors: $4111.81
He was originally buried in the Teague Cemetery on his land. The graves were moved to the Chandler Cemetery, Old Milton Road, Laurens County, S.C.
It appears that all but Elijah, Thomas, and Jesse either died young or left Laurens County. Joshua died in 1834, leaving several children. Thomas became a doctor.
Elijah apparently farmed most of the Teague estate, and was prosperous, He had 13 children. Jesse married three times. Some of his descendants became well-known physicians. Isaac also became a doctor, and reportedly moved to Florida. He is not mentioned in the will, and there is no further record, except that he married a girl from Greenwood County, (then Abbeville). All the others died as children, or without marrying. See also William Harris, (Waterloo Harrises) Laurens County Kinfolk Vol:Bk2.
