Jonathan Eugene Campbell

Jonathan Eugene Campbell, 34, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

He was born in Lynchburg on August 25, 1978, a son of Clyde "Gene" Eugene Campbell and the late Kathy Roark and was also preceded in death by a brother, Joshua Campbell; his paternal grandfather, Gordon Campbell; and his maternal grandparents, Shelly and Peggy Roark.

Jonathan was a member of Tree of Life Ministries.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Connie Campbell; sister, Tanya Singleton and her husband, Bobby; two brothers, Craig Campbell and Alex Campbell; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Coldbird Campbell; and two nieces and two nephews.

A funeral service was conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Service by Pastor Mike Dodson with burial to follow at Virginia Memorial Park.

The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at Heritage Funeral Service, 427 Graves Mill Road.
