Lee was born on July 30, 1968 in Westminster, California, the son of Henry and Mary Ellen Collier. He was raised and educated in Westminster, California, but always felt his true home was in the green, rolling hills of Kentucky.
After high school, Lee joined the United States Marine Corps, fulfilling a life-long dream. He attained the rank of Lance Corporal before being injured and honorably discharged in April, 1990.
Lee was employed by Glanbia Foods, where he made many friends. He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Kari (Galbreath), on April 1, 2012 in Gooding, Idaho.
Lee was passionate about many things in life, but mainly family, the Marine Corps, Dallas Cowboys, and University of Kentucky basketball. He had a quick wit and an infectious laugh. Lee was the person you could always count on to brighten any gloomy day. He was a best friend to his siblings, a ray of sunshine to his friends, and will always be his parents' baby boy. Lee was his wife's rock, her knight in shining armor, her dream come true.
Lee is survived by wife, Kari, and stepdaughter, Melissa, of Gooding; parents, Henry and Mary Ellen Collier, of Ashland, KY; sons, Trey (Karissa) and Andy Willett, of Ashland, KY; brother, Randy (Patty) Collier, of Louisville, KY; sisters, Elizabeth (Dennis) Edwards, of Ashland, KY, and Penny (Charles) Acosta, of Louisville, KY; granddaughter, Veronica Grace Willett, of Ashland, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
