Agnes Bent, also known as Ann Bent, was the daughter of Robert Bent and Agnes Goslin/Gosling. . She was baptized on 16 July 1602 at Weyhill, Wiltshire, England.

She married (1) Richard Barnes Sr 11 Apr 1630 and had two children, Richard (bp. 20 Feb 1630/1) & Elizabeth (died before 1639), both were named in the will of their grandfather, Robert Bent.

Agnes lived in London with her second husband, Thomas Blanchard, whom she married 15 May 1637. Her mother lived with them for a month before they embarked on board the 'Jonathan,' from London, bound for New England on 12 Apr 1639. Also traveling with them were Richard Barnes, son of Agnes by her first husband, and Thomas and Elizabeth Plimpton, son and daughter of Jane [Bent] Plimpton (sister to Agnes.)

Fifteen days out Agnes died and, though the other women of the ship tried to nurse their infant, the child soon died also.

Her estate was probated on 7 November 1648.
