Edward C. Morrison, Jr., 84, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at his home with his family. He served and defended our country in the Merchant Marines before serving with the United States Navy. Ed was the founder and the owner/operator of JM Test Systems, Inc. for 30 years before passing his company along to his sons. He was a resident of Denham Springs for 35 years and a native of Stevendale, LA where he was born on July 26, 1928. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, May 8, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, May 9, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Joe Alain, pastor of Hebron Baptist Church where Ed was a member. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward C. Sr., and Ruth Bankston Morrison; brother and sister-in-law, Edison "Boog" and Maxine Morrison; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Bill Hershey; brother-in-law, Art Frazier.
