Elmina Shara was born December 7, 1903, and died January 20, 1911, aged 7 years, 1 month and 11 days.
The sad news of little Elmira's sudden death cast a shadow over the whole community, for her short, but happy life was spent among us, and every heart was toughed with sympathy for the stricken ones, from whose fireside the light had fled. For seven bright, sunny years not only had she been the joy and comfort of home, but sweet sunny, childish presence brought a wealth of sunshine and happiness into the lives of the entire community.
She leaves a father and mother, sister and brother and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
Funeral services were held at the home after which the remains were taken to the (Bohemian) National Cemetery south of town for burial, followed by a large host of friends and family.
The sorrow stricken family have the sympathy of all in this hour of affliction.
