Barbara Frances Johnson, 85, who reside in Clarksburg community for 52 years died at 7:30 P.M. Sunday, March 19, 1989 at the home of her daughter at 509 E. Hall St., in Greentown, Indiana. She was born May 3, 1903, in Falmouth Ky., the daughter of John and Minnie Bell Smith Hardin. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church in Clarksburg. She married Hanley Johnson March 5, 1927, in Lawerencburg, Indiana., and he preceded her in death July 2, 1983. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs Estel (Florence) Eckart, Greentown, Indiana., Mrs Ernest (Ada) Batman, Frankfort, Indiana., Mrs Carl Eugene (Helen) Jackson, Greensburg and Mrs. Alger (Shirley) Satterfield, Columbus, Indiana.; one sister, Elizabeth Rietdorf, Hazen, Arizona, one brother, Orville Hardin, Minneapolis, Minn.; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight brother and sisters. Services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Gilliland-Howe funeral Home, Greensburg, with the Rev. W.D. Spoonamore of Freetown, Indiana., officiating. Burial will be in the Clarksburg Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home 4 to 8 P.M. today
