Mr. Culpepper was a native of Texas but had resided here since 1895 and had been associated with the old Grayling Lumber company and later with the Parlor City Lumber company, having been in the shipping department of the last named company up to a few months ago when he was forced to relinquish duties because of ill health.
Mr. Culpepper is survived by his wife, who was before her marriage, Miss Annie Blewster, Fort Valley, Ga., and the following sons and daughters: A. E. Culpepper, Jr., Lynton Dick Culpepper, Mrs. Ed. Hayward, Jr., and Mrs. F. C. Shelton. He also leaves three grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: W. S. Culpepper, E. L. Culpepper and F. C. Culpepper, all of Monroe; Mrs. W. L. Blewster, Monroe; Mrs. H. L. Blackwell, Lake Charles, and Mrs. E. Marshall, Good Pine.
