Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Culpepper, widow of the late A. E. Culpepper, Sr., were slated to be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Monroe with the Rev. James T. Horton, pastor, officiating.

Interment, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, was to follow in the Riverview Cemetery.

Mrs. Culpepper, 78, died shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday at her residence at 2609 South Grand. She had been ill for several years.

A native of Ft. Valley, Ga., with her husband she moved to Monroe in 1901. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Culpepper is survived by two sons, A. E. Culpepper and Lynton Culpepper, both of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. F. C. Shelton, Monroe, and Mrs. L. A. LeCamu, Morgan City; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be A. D. Forman, Roland Brown, Pat Lynch, Jack Terzia, B. S. McRaney, W. A. Poland, Guy Elliott, Paul Fink and Hayword Henderson.
