Shirley Ann Aeschliman, 78, of Lancaster, MO and formerly of Montrose, IA, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the University of Columbia in Columbia, MO.
She was born on October 13, 1934 in Bloomfield, IA to William and Lela White Howell. On April 1, 1956 she married David L. Aseschliman in Bloomfield, IA. Shirley worked as an Assembler for Fruehauf for 21 years. Shirley was of the Christian Faith and in her early years she enjoyed baking and quilting.
Survivors include her husband, David L. Aeschliman of Lancaster, MO; one son, David J. Aeschliman of DeKalb, IL; three grandsons; two granddaughters; three great grandchildren; one sister, Sue Wilson of Omaha, NE; one brother, Robert Howell of Colorado Springs, CO; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son William Paul Aeschliman, a daughter, Shirlene Strunk; two sisters and one brother
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, July 13, 2012 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Mike McHugh officiating. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until the time of the service at 2 PM. Burial will follow in Charleston Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Schuyler Co. Nutrition Site, PO Box 102, Lancaster, MO 63548.
