Elizabeth Watson Tannahill was the daughter of William Watson and Christina McGann. She was the wife of James R. Tannahill, and the mother of Janet Helen Tannahill Gavin. She married James on Dec. 29, 1868 in Godmanchester. To this union were born eight children; William Robert, James Alexander, Archibald Wallace, Elizabeth Margaret, Joan Christina, Janet Helen, Mary Jane Rebekah and Susan Jane Pearl. She died on 1 Jan 1919 at the age of 70.
