Anton Bohnenkamp, for over 65 years a well known resident of West Point township, was found dead in bed at his home, about two and one-half miles south of West Point, Monday noon, May 7, 1928.
He lived alone and was last seen Saturday noon. On Monday his brother, Herman, made an investigation and found him dead in bed. From the condition of his body, he must have been dead two(?) days.
Mr. Bohnenkamp was born in Germany in 1858 and was 70 years of age. He came to this country when about 5 years of age with his parents and has lived here ever since.
He had no family and is survived by an only brother, Herman Bohnenkamp.
The funeral was held Wednesday morning with burial in Calvary cemetery.
