Shirley Cloward Hiatt Holman passed away Thursday May 2, 2013, in Orem, Utah.

She was born January 29, 1930, to Ivan Floyd and Erma Kay Cloward in Santaquin, Utah. She was one of six children. She graduated from Payson High School.

She married John F. Hiatt, August 11, 1948, in the Manti Utah Temple. They had two children. John preceded her in death January 21, 1958.

Shirley married Keith L. Holman July 5, 1959; together, they had two children. They were married 49 years before Keith passed away September 23, 2008.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Shirley was dedicated in many callings. Also, she served in Cub Scouts and Jr. Cultus Club. She worked for First Security Bank and Wells Fargo for many years.

Shirley was well known for her talents and dedication in playing the organ and piano for numerous events and services. She was the organist for her ward for many years.

She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and a great example of kindness, patience, and service. She will be missed greatly by all those who knew her.

She is survived by: three children, Linda Kay Jensen (Craig), Mike (Char), Scott (Vicki); two brothers Marlo (Gwen) Cloward, and Kay (Glenda) Cloward; twelve grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son John Bruce Hiatt, and three siblings Elmo Cloward, Russell Cloward, and Oneta Nelson.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Canyon Breeze Senior Living in Orem, Utah for the loving care she received for the past several years.

Friends and family may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Monday, May 6, 2013, 6-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 7, 2013, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Graveside services will follow at the Payson City Cemetery, 805 East 400 North.
