BARCA, John William Passed away on September 8, 2006 in Santa Rosa. Loving husband of the late Anita E. Barca.Devoted father of Joan M. Barca, Philip J. Barca, Mary Ann Allen (Jim) and Theresa A. Barca. Dear grandfather of John and Megan Richardson and Lydia Allen. Brother-in-law of Emmie Ericson, Jeanne and Bill Affolter. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A native of New York, age 90. A member of Holy Name Society, Father's Club, Ephiphany Church in San Francisco, Cathedral of St. Eugene, I.C.F. Branch 198, Italian-American Social Club, SIRS Burbank Branch 17, Santa Rosa Druids Grove 121, Knights of Columbus Counsel 132 and the American Legion Theodore Post 21. John enlisted in the US Navy and served during WW II. He worked for Bethlehem Steel Ship Building Divistion and retired after 42 years of service.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass, Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Eugene, 2323 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, CA. Private inurnment Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Santa Rosa, CA. If desired, donations in his memory may be amde to L.C.F. Branch 198 Scholarship Fund.
