Thomas was the son of Marshall Elkanah Adcock and Sarah Elizabeth Mcafee.

and his mother~ Nervy died the next week on November 27. 1918
Leaving a widower to raise their children by himself.
Mrs Ella Burch Melton, a widower herself. With small children, and possibly a neighbor of Walter Adcock ,
she and Walter married 10 July 1919 .
They became one large family. All the children were very close. They were family.
Her 7 , his 11, and soon they would raise several grandchildren.
They were good PARENT examples. they were Loving Christian people as is reflected in the many descendants living today. Scattered across many states. To Those "GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN~ it is within those many families that started here, that we are who we are.
