Services were October 6 at the Miller Memorial Chapel, Brazil, for David McKinley Snapp, age 96, Brazil, who died October 2 at the Clay County Health Center. Rev. William Staley of Greencastle officiated. Burial was in the Coatesville Cemetery.

Born in Hawkins County, Tennessee, Sept. 14, 1896, he was the last survivor of the 13 children of the late David and Catherine (Combs) Snapp. He was a former resident of Owen and Hendricks Counties and was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his widow, Minnie A. (Walton) Snapp of Brazil; three daughters, Mae Smith of New Maysville, Ruby Duncan of Peoria, Arizona, and Sandra Atkinson of Terre Haute; three sons, Lowell Snapp of Brazil, Robert Snapp of Indianapolis and Harold Snapp of Tucson, Arizona; 35 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A son, Kenneth Lee Snapp, and 12 brothers and sisters preceded.
