CHILLICOTHE: David Phillips Hirsch died on May 2nd, 2013 after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was born September 29, 1941, in Ross County, to the late George Martin and Norma Jean (Phillips) Hirsch. On October 4, 1997, he married Sharon Ramsey, who survives.

He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Richard Ramsey.

David retired from IBI in 2003. He had an art for carpentry and had made several beautiful pieces of furniture and clocks. He loved woodworking, gardening, spending time with his family and his dogs, Cody, Buffy, Petey and granddogs, Ella and Griffey. David will be sadly missed.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Father Richard B. Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Adena Hospice, Adena Cancer Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
