Stevens, 89, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013.He was retired from Brock Candy Co. and was of the Christian faith.He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Lillian Stevens; two daughters, Lucille and Beatrice Stevens; parents, George W. and Dolly D. Stephens; brothers, Edgar, G.B. and Bobby; sisters, Melon, Isabelle, Babe, Pearl and Minnie; several nieces and nephews.Survivors include his wife of three years, Shirley Stevens; son, Gerald (Carol) Stevens, Kihei, Hawaii; daughters, Esta Ingram, Chattanooga, Linda (Dean) Sims, Trenton; grandsons, Bart (Christa) Sims, Evansville, Ind., Ian (Adriana) Stevens, Kihei, Hawaii, Brian (Rachael) Sims, Trenton; granddaughter, Rebecca Ingram, Chattanooga; great-grandsons, Hunter and Garrett Sims, Trenton, Gabriel Sims, Evansville, Ind.; stepsons, Johnny (Dianna) Gray, Trenton, Rickey (Jody) Gray, Trenton; seven stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. EDT Saturday, May 4, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Al Johnson officiating.Burial will follow at Gibdock Cemetery.Visitation 3-8 p.m. EDT today; 10-11 a.m. EDT Saturday.Please leave your memories and prayers atwww.moorefuneralhometrenton.com.Arrangements by Moore Funeral Home, Trenton.
