Lillian Brewer, 83, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Monroe Teeters, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the funeral home.

She was born July 23, 1929, in Madison County, Alabama and married William Theodore "John" Brewer November 8, 1946 in Huntsville, Alabama. He preceded her in death July 30, 2011.

Lillian retired from the Big Spring State Hospital in 1986 as a charge mental health aide and physician's assistant. She and her husband enjoyed travelling and spent a lot of time at Lake Sam Rayburn. She loved to sew and make clothes.

Survivors include three sons, William David Brewer and wife, Sharon of Plattsburg, New York, Tom Brewer and wife, Lawanda of Big Spring, and Tim Brewer and wife, Connie of Inez, Kentucky; one daughter, Shelia Brewer of Big Spring; four grandsons, Mark Brewer, John Brewer, Heath White and Billy Latimer; two granddaughters, Rhonda Latimer and Candice Brewer; several great grandchildren; four brothers, Raymond Webster, Ellis Webster, Robert "Bobby" Medley and Jay W. Medley; and one sister, Linda Sue Keyworth.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Buford Webster, Bennan Webster, and Wayne Webster; four sisters, Nettie Atchly, Cora Crouch, Louise Brown, and an infant sister; and one granddaughter, Alisha Brewer.
