Judith (Judy) L. Vaughn born Sept. 1, 1930 in Bagley, MN passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord, with her family present at the age of 82 on Saturday April 20th, 2013 in Renton, WA.

She was a Enumclaw plateau resident from 1962 until they retired in 1992, when they moved to Weippe, ID. She was a very active member of the Kibler Ave. church of Christ and the Assembly of God. In her life she enjoyed spending time with her friends, large family and planning family reunions. She loved teaching Sunday school and women's bible studies. She also taught calligraphy at the Enumclaw Senior Center. She loved drawing, singing and gardening. She is well known for her scrapbooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl F. Vaughn of 29 1/2 years, son Scott L. Freeman and step-daughter, Brendina M. Vaughn.

She is survived by daughter Susan (Long) Goegebuer and husband Steven of Des Moines, WA, daughter Gail (Long) Nissen and husband Chris of Enumclaw, daughter Laurel (Long) King and husband Mark of Enumclaw, son Robert Freeman and wife Denise of Kent, WA, son Kevin Vaughn and wife Shannon of Buckley, step-son Brian Vaughn of Juneau, AK and step-daughter Julie (Vaughn) Brown and husband Craig of Ford, WA, 22 Grandchildren and 35 Great-Grandchildren.

Above all, the greatest thing she gave to those around her was her faith, her trust in Jesus and His love. She was a happy, outgoing person and we will miss her.
