Dorothy J. Knepp
MINERAL SPRINGS Dorothy J. Knepp, 75, of Mineral Springs died Thursday, Feb. 29, 1996, at Clearfield Hospital.
Born June 19, 1920, in Mineral Springs, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Wisor) Wisor, On Aug. 29, 1936, in Philipsburg, she married Frederick W. Knepp, who died Oct. 11,1972.
Mrs. Knepp was a homemaker, and was a member of House of Prayer, Osceola Mills RD. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Phillips of Osceola Mills RD and Mrs. Cathy Osewalt of Mineral Springs; six sons, David Knepp and Duane Knepp, both of Clearfield, James L. Knepp and Paul W. Knepp, both of Mineral Springs, Henry B. Knepp of Winburne and Robert C. Knepp of Philipsburg.
Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Lenora V. Lumadue, and one brother, Paul D. Wisor, both of Mineral Springs.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Knepp was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Sam (Donna) Phillips; four brothers, Rev. Earl Wisor, Rev. Leonard Wisor, Allen and Henry Wisor; and one sister, Mrs. Paul (Mary) Rauch.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg, with Rev. Stanley Wisor, nephew of Mrs. Knepp, officiating.
Interment will be in Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton. Friends will be received Saturday at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
