He was loved by all and will be missed by all. He was born in Savannah, Ga., but had lived in Texas for the past 20 years, and he was preceded in death by his father, Jesse E. Bankston.
He was an avid Harley Rider, and a Long Distance Truck Driver, who had traveled the entire United States, and had formerly worked for TEI Trucking Company and Pacer Trucking Company. He had formerly served in the US Air National Guard. He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Dawn Bankston, of Guyton, Ga., and Jessica Elizabeth James, of Savannah, Ga; mother, Mrs. Pat Maddox Bankston, of Savannah, Ga; two sisters, Mary Ann Kennedy-Vines and Brenda Bryan both of Savannah, Ga; a grandson, Tripp James of Savannah, Ga; two nieces, and six grand nephews, and one grand niece.
Memorial Services: 7 p.m. Thursday at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, with Rev. Michael Myers, officiating.
