BOWMAN, JOSEPHINE (HORTENBERRY) ROGERS, 88, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Rogers and Carl Bowman; son, Howard Neal Rogers; great-grandson, Eric Rogers and her seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, and many nieces and nephews, including Geneive Philpott, who cared for her.
Her service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 2-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
