John M. Battis, 61, a resident of Wheaton, formerly of Pittsburgh, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 26 at Central DuPage Hospital. He was born in Metuchen, NJ on June 10, 1943. Mr. Battis worked for many years as a draftsman and design engineer. Beloved brother of Edward (Janet) Battis of Canonsburg, PA; fond nephew of Sean Battis of Norwalk, CT; preceded in death by his parents, Walter T. and Clara M. Battis.
