Andrew ""Andy"" Dubeansky, 89, of Mentor, died April 29, 2013, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
He was born Aug. 12, 1923, in Arcadia, Pa.
Mr. Dubeansky had worked as a Realtor for Webster Realty for 20 years, and before that he was owner/operator of Dubeansky's Service Station in Mentor for 40 years.
He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, where he was a part of the Men's Club and was an usher at church. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Dubeansky was an avid softball player, playing until he was 60 years old.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Polly (Schnell); sons, Michael Dubeansky, Danny Dubeansky and Andrew (Jennifer) Dubeansky Jr.; stepchildren, Michael Schnell, Gregory (Teresa) Schnell, Robert (Debora) Schnell, Colleen (Mark) Hayman and Gary (Kim) Schnell; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ora Mae Dubeansky; and 13 siblings.
Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Please meet at the church.
Family will receive 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
