Althea Davis Raburn, age 89
will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat-
urday, June 23, 2012 at Poplar
Springs South Baptist Church
with interment to follow in the
church cemetery. Rev. Lewis
Miller and Rev. Nolan Mc-
Daniel will officiate.
Mrs. Raburn was born on
June 13, 1923 in East Lake,
Tennessee. She was the daugh-
ter of the late Luther Leonard
and Hassie Davis. She was also
preceded in death by her hus-
band, Lester Watson Raburn,
and by her son Tommy Raburn.
She was a retired secretary for
Green Thumb. She was a mem-
ber of Poplar Springs South
Baptist Church. Mrs. Raburn
passed away on Wednesday,
June 20, 2012 at Fairview Park
Hospital.
The family will receive
friends on Friday June 22, 2012
from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral
home.
Stanley Funeral Home and

charge of funeral arrangements.
