Barbara K. Decastro, age 65, of Batesville, died Friday, April 12, 2013 in a local hospital. She was born November 26, 1947, in Austin, Texas, the daughter of John Doherty and Ruby Sullivent Doherty. She was of the Methodist faith.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Katie Chumely Reach of Batesville; son-in-law, Shane Reach; a brother, Jim Doherty of Louisiana; a sister, Sandra Doherty of Searcy; 2 nieces, Erin Doherty, of Louisiana, Kelley Doherty of Louisiana; and one grandchild, Sullivan Reach.
No services will be held.
