MOUNT PLEASANT — Betty Ann Kirby Black, 68, of Mount Pleasant died Thursday, April 25, 2013, in a Batesville hospital.

Born March 31, 1945, in Etowah, she was the daughter of Benny Edward and Maurine Marie Chapel Kirby. She worked in home health and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Lee Black Sr.; two sons, Lee Black Jr. of Melbourne and Paul Black of Carey, Ohio; three daughters, Teresa Havelka, Tammy Fulton and Candace Moser, all of Mount Pleasant; her mother of Michigan; five brothers, James Kirby of Florida and Thomas Kirby, Eugene Kirby, Robert Kirby and Mark Kirby, all of Michigan; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Jimmy Kirby.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Melbourne with Elvis Sneathern officiating. Burial will be in Reeves Cemetery, located on Highway 58 in Melbourne.

Pallbearers will be Lee Black, Paul Black, Lon Havelka, Jesse Fulton, Tim Moser, Joseph Havelka, Kevin Black, Nathaniel Fulton and Michael Cohoon.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight.
