Karen Robison, 52, of Lee's Summit, MO, went with her special Angel to Heaven on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Village Hospice House following a serious illness.

Karen was born on July 2, 1960 at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, MO, to Carolyn and Nelson Tripp of Sumner, MO.

At age 5 they moved to Lee's Summit. She graduated from Lee's Summit High School and attended the United Methodist Church.

She married Rob Robison and they moved to Brookfield, MO. She worked at Stanbury Uniform for several years. She was very close to her friends there. Then she moved back to Lee's Summit where she was employed at Wal Mart and had good friends she worked with. She loved music concerts, esp. rock concerts, her pets esp. cats and most of all her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Nelson Tripp; a brother, Kenny Tripp; grandparents, Myra and Walter DeWeese and Ival and Jay Tripp; a nephew, Troy Ross, and a brother-in-law, Terry Conaway.

She is survived by her husband, Rob Robison of Sumner, MO; mother, Carolyn Tripp of Lee's Summit, MO; her son, Jeremy Tripp of Lee's Summit; a daughter, Sonsara Tripp and TJ Singleton; her grandchildren, Taelour Tripp, David Norval, Xavier and Jeffery Singleton; sisters, Brenda Conaway of Bucklin, MO, Sandra Bushery of Greendale, Wisconsin and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 11:00 a.m. in Brookfield, MO, at Pershing Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to John Knox Village Hospice House in Lee's Summit or any Animal Shelter of choice or any organization of your choice.
