Willie Cook, 90, died Monday, January 25, 2021, at Lake City Community Hospital.

Mr. Cook was born on April 25, 1930 in Florence County, son of the late Almond Cook and Frances Lewis Cook. He was a member of Lake City Church of God and was a Long distance Truck Driver with Dud Cooke Motors for 44 years. Mr. Cook loved his church, gardening, his animals, and was a big snacker.

Surviving are his sons, Joseph W. (Dora) Cook of Scranton and Clarmon (Donna) Cook of Pamplico; daughter, Mattie Ard of Florence; grandchildren, Tammy (Johnny) McGee, Joseph (Christy) Cook, Marion Cook, Jason Poston, David (Shauna) Hyman, Larry (Tina) Cook, Kristi (Chuck) Shoppell and Michael (Ashley) Ard; great grandchildren, Brianna McGee, Bethany McGee, Bailey McGee, Kayla Cook, Marion Cook, Jr., Ava Cook, Liam Cook, Jack Cook, Joseph "Pee Wee" Cook, Josie Cook, Killen Poston, Austin Hyman, Whitley (Lance) Weatherford, Carlos (Renee) Sosa, Pheonix (Preston) Kelley, Brock Cook, Gage Cook, Tyler Dubose and Corbyn Shoppell; great - great grandchildren, Nolan Weatherford, Laine Weatherford and Logan Sosa; siblings, Patsy Marceau, Johnny "Doc" Cook and Freda Smith.

Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Stone Cook; brothers, Marvin Cook, Charlton Cook and Son Cook; sisters, Kathleen Cook-Kelly, Bertha Mae Reddings and Jacqueline Barfield; son-in-law, Michael Ard, Sr.; and great grandchild, Chandler McGee
