Bob Morehead, 66, of Billings, passed away on April 25, 2013, surrounded by his family after a tremendously valiant and long struggle with early-onset Alzheimer's. He was born on Jan. 30, 1947, in Morgantown, W.V., son of the late Bob Morehead, Sr. and Deloris Faye Grimes. He married Mary Ann Spangler on June, 21, 1969, in Wheeling, W. V. He earned a BS degree in geology and an MS degree in mining engineering from West Virginia University. He was licensed as a professional engineer in Montana, Colorado, Missouri, Kentucky and West Virginia.

Family meant everything to Bob. He was devoted to his wife, sons, and grandchildren. He was a stanch gun-rights advocate. Although he may have called many places home, he was always a West Virginia Mountaineer at heart.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Rachel; son, Mark; and grandchildren, Michael Thomas and Reagan Jean all of Billings; brother, Russ of Flanders, N.J.; brother, Steve of Morgantown, W.V.; and a sister, Sandy Dove from Martinsburg, W.V.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Michael Paul.

The funeral service is planned for Tuesday, April 30, at 3 p.m. at Faith Chapel followed by a graveside service at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park in Billings.
