FLORENCE, SC

Annie Ruth Floyd Fields, 69, of Florence, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Fields was born in Olanta, SC, a daughter of the late Valsor Floyd and Eliza Miles Floyd. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of the Darlington Moose Lodge. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Homer Floyd.

Surviving are her husband, James Leonard Fields; her children, Cindy Harlow of Florence, Norman "Suny" (David) Gause, Jr. of Seattle, WA, and Gary (Lacy) Gause, of Florence; her grandchildren, Logan Gause, Anthony Hayes, Michael Edie and Brooke Sanderson; her siblings, Dorothy Nell Christmas of Scranton, Runette (Jimmy) Feagin of Kingstree, V. J. Floyd of Olanta, Timmons (Mary Ann) Floyd of Florence, Bobby (Willa Lee) Floyd of Kingstree, Dale (Marion) Hayes of Socastee, Joyce (Leon) Sanderson of Darlington, Wanda (Elbert) Stewart of Lake City, Kathy (Lagree) Welch of Turbeville, and Ola Mae (Allan) Floyd of Johnsonville.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
