- There is a second memorial, #3142612 for Nathaniel Root. It is not unusual to have two memorials. FindAGrave refers to the non-burial memorial as a cenotaph.

- Verona Cemetery records and photos show Mr. Root's burial/memorial in Verona with his family.

- I have requested a photo of his military memorial in Arkansas which now is in place. The two non-military memorial were taken in the Verona Cemetery, Verona, Wis. I took the photos in the Verona memorial which are duplicated in #3142612. I recognize the buildings in the back of the photos displayed in memorial #3142612 as bordering the Verona Cemetery. Also, the brown MEIER memorial behind it is a Verona memorial.

- I have found the enclosed government veterans records regarding his death location.

Considering this information this memorial is valid and should not be removed.

Thanks you,
