Son of Benning Wilkinson of Epping and Deborah Langley who came from
Nottingham NH. They married Dec 4, 1786 and had eight children including Susanna Wilkinson who married Charles Huckins of New Hampton and Jacob R. who first resided with his brother Bradbury (who married Hannah Huckins 1820.)

Jacob married Leah Rundlett/Randlett June 25,1825 and lived near the Governor's Island Bridge. They had six children: Leonard, Mark, Mary A., Jane, Deborah, and Ella. (Annals of Meredith, Bickford, 1932) and adopted daughter Hattie A. Huckins.

Jacob and Leah were living in Gilford in 1850, ages 45 and 39 and in the home at the time were Leonard age 21, Deborah age 19, Amanda age 13 and Marcus M. age 1. Jacob was a farmer.

Son Leonard Wilkinson born 1829 married Emily Jane Dockham and died 1898.
Daughter Elnora Deborah "Deborah" Wilkinson born 1831 unmarried who lived with parents and died 1903.
Son Marcus M. "Mark" Wilkinson born 1840 married Mary Saltmarsh and Clara Hersey. He died 1898.
Daughter Mary Amanda Wilkinson born June 6, 1837 married her cousin George Huckins Wilkinson (son of Bradbury) in 1862 and died in 1876.
Daughter Jane or Mary Jane married Joshua F. Cummings and resided Ashland New Hampshire. She died 1888 in Ashland from a strangulated hernia at age 63, 10 mos and 27 days and was buried in Ashland. Name on death record was Jane R. Cummings.
Daughter Ella married a Bickford from Meredith.

Jacob died in Gilford at age 77, 4 mos and 17 days of pneumonia. Death record indicates father (no name given) born in Nottingham, New Hampshire.

The Wilkinson cemetery is located across the road from the old homestead. I am working on linking this family.
