Thomas Milton Battle, 85, of Leicester Rt. 1, died at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday in an Asheville hospital following a brief illness.

Arrangements will be announced by Dunn and Williams Funeral Home, where the family will received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
