Raymond William Farley, 85, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerly of Bowling Green, passed away April 19, 2013, at 10:50 p.m. at NHC Health Care in Murfreesboro.

Ray was born Nov. 18, 1927, in New York City and was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Kay Farley, and his parents, Raymond Farley and Agnes Piesnikowski Farley.

Ray was a retired pharmaceutical sales rep and was a member of the Lehman Avenue Church of Christ. He loved boating and spending time with his family. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Hopkins of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Laura Farley of Louisville; one son, Richard S. Farley (Terri) of Murfreesboro; and five grandchildren, Josh Sinclair, Layne Pelp and Alex, Zach and Sydney Farley.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green.
